Neishabour’s Dam Bar receives migratory birds

Some flocks of migratory birds have chosen Bar dam in Razavi Khorasan Province of Iran for spending the winter.

These days the dam in Neishabour is hosting birds such as flamingos, seagulls, pelicans, great cormorant, stilts, and rock doves.

The birds have arrived here from colder northern lands of Siberia and some European countries to spend the cold season.

Bar dam is structured on Bar River on the Binaloud ranges known as Roof of Khorasan in Neishabour City.

The construction provides drinking water to the city of Neishabour and the industrial water needed by Khorasan Steel Complex.
